It’s getting worse!! It looks like the LAFFS are getting at least one point….and the Jets will get two……no Flyers scored….at least one point also…..DAMN!!!!…..LAFFS get only one…..Devils became temporarily stupid tonight…..at the wrong time. Now there will be at least a 7 point deficit between Montreal and 8th place….take those Winnipeg Thrashers out Flyers!!!

Not one team is even unofficially out at the bottom of that conference. Some good news perhaps, from an otherwise nightmare of an evening.

Last two games the Habs have been especially dainty. Not wanting to get the nose bloodied, not particularly interested in upping their game. Just outclassed? Tired? Disinterested? Not sure how they can’t find the motivation, given the situation. Maybe they just don’t believe they have a winning game plan.

The last Hab to score over 30 goals was Richard Zednik with 31 in 2002-2003 season. In back to back seasons 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 Michael Ryder had 30 goals. Last year Gionta had 29.
This year maybe Max Pac. In the last 10 years Zednik and Ryder. Thats it.

This team has zero puck retrieval skills. It’s a big reason we suck on powerplays and a big reason the puck is always in our end.

Habs were getting manhandled down low on more than one occasion in the offensive zone. We need a player like Chris Stewart down low, especially with the man advantage. A no-nonsense, tough SOB that enjoys hurting people.
