Eller got robbed, Star-wise.
The Canadiens blew this open by scoring on the three of their first four shots in the second period … against one of the best goaltenders in the NHL.
After Brendan Gallagher bagged his third on a lovely exchange with fellow rookie Alex Galchenyuk, Desharnais and Eller scored their first of the season.
Bourque and DD added goals in the third period.
Thomas Vanek spoiled Carey Price’s shutout bid with a shorthanded goal when it was 5-0 and the Canadiens were coasting.
Eller played his best game of the season
Chucky had two assists and was 9-2 on draws..
P.K. played 18:01 in all situations. He was as strong in the third period as the first.
Brandon Prust had another fight and pounded out a decision over Steve Ott.
