Sad really. At least JM had them playing .500 with the heavily criticized “Le System”. I know, I know give him a chance.
I have reached the point now where I’d rather they just fell for a pick than made the playoffs. I know picks are very, very hit and miss but I don’t see where this team could possibly be going in terms of the playoffs this year. It’s either a decent pick, or a 4-game sweep.

Moen totally fugged that up, but Price’s compete level was soft. He failed the poke check and then just watched Marchand skate past and score. A goalie with mojo would’ve fallen/jumped/or eat least LEANED back.

After he missed the poke-check, Marchand was already by him. Nothing he could have done at that point other than throw his stick.
Edit: just saw the replay, and Price DID move his sick from the pokecheck position to in between Marchand and the goal.
