Liveblog: Canadiens beat Rangers 3-0

PriceRangers

Not bad for a new line.
Erik Cole, Alex Galchenyuk and Lars Eller beat Martin Biron to give your Montreal Canadiens their second win over the Rangers this week.
They were the Three Stars of the game, with Chucky a popular Number 1.
Carey Price made 17 saves for his second shutout of the season.
The Canadiens had 18 shots.

Conan: Almost 20 years of pitiless cumber! No rest, no sleep like other men. And yet the spring wind blows, Subotai. Have you ever felt such a wind?
Subotai: They blow where I live too. In the north of every man’s heart.
Conan: It’s never too late, Subotai.
Subotai: No. It would only lead me back here another day. In even worse company.
Conan: For us, there is no spring. Just the wind that smells fresh before the storm.

  60. savethepuck says:

Do we have a new #1 line? Eller, Chucky and Cole looking real good together tonight. Such a treat to haves 3 lines that either can be the best on any given night along with a 4th line that can average over 10 mins a game without hurting you. My how things have changed. MB’s depth signings in the offseason looking really good now.

  61. Sal from the Hammer says:

Had no idea Prust is so good! Nice pick up.

  62. Danno says:

It’s going to be an interesting post-game presser with Torts

Living in Alberta has its advantages, like no provincial tax. But trying to watch a Canadiens game on CBC is non existent. So thank god for RDS!!! But I had to buy some stupid package which has other channels like NBA. Which I can’t stand. But I won’t miss a game if I’m able to be at home…

  73. Samovich says:

    And Superb P.K!
