I’m not expecting the Habs to rebound and turn their season around after this game. I actually hope they don’t move up to 10th or 11th and hang around there.
It’s always nice to see games like this where everyone does their part: a nice mix of forward pressure, good PK (which is unfortunately more dangerous than their PP), great saves by Price, etc. Everyone on the same page.
But I wouldn’t be surprised if they lose their next 3 or 4.

We were pushing for the same thing! Either that or put Gomez out there. A goal is a goal.
If Jose can do it on a back hand, Carey will do it too. Natural left hand shot. We watched him inpractice my first summit and he was shooting one timers with his goalie stick on PK and nailing top shelf.
He shot over 80 during the skills comp.

People talk about trading Gill and Campoli, but why would anyone want them?
Gill is only useful on the PK, to the point where we need to dress 7 D.
Campoli is simply not good.
I wonder if a playoff team might be talked into taking Kaberle. He is a plus and scoring a point every other game on a very poor scoring team.

Plex doesn’t even enjoy playing with himself for gawds sake.
Maybe I missed the play but #27 should be in the box, he needs the rest from the shift and Cole should on the ice PK as he’s one of the Habs hardest workers.

RC this why you don’t put players like Darche on the top two lines of a team. Pleks having a good game sets Darche up for the fourth and burying goal and instead we still only have three goals and are now killing a penalty.

the key to Pierre’s succes this summer is unloading gomer. With gomer’s $7 mill of cap the team could actually improve. With him in the line-up the disappointment will continue.
