Am I mistaken here? Is there a semblance of a forecheck? Am I seeing the Habs forcing the play and creating turnovers? Correct me please if I am wrong.
Markov may have lost a step or two, but he still thinks the game at a very high level. He’s made a few nice defensive plays simply by choosing when to step up and when he needs to continue to back off.
