Ridiculous to play the blame game tonight when nobody showed up, with the possible exception of Gallagher. With not much left to play in the game, shots on goal, Habs have the edge, hits, close to even, blocked shots dead even, penalty minutes close to even. Only one category stands out…faceoffs. After tonight I’m pretty sure they’ll be dead last in the league. You can’t win games when you spend the whole night trying to find the puck.

The only positive is that I have hope that Bergevin will see the obvious problems with this team, and keep getting guys who will make us better.
Let’s face it, 90% of our roster is overpaid, overrated crap. If we had talent, we wouldn’t have been the 3rd worst team in the league last year. Most of those players are back this year.

In a way I feel for MT though I am not a fan. This team isn’t very good, but a slow start would have been more acceptable than this debacle. Now that they have created expectations that weren’t there at the beginning, they will be evaluated more harshly than they should.
Have a feeling we’ll be in play for a good pick when it’s all said and done.
