A short week ago, your Montreal Canadiens were losing at home to the Leafs.
Now they’re hot.
And off for a while
How you gonna slam your stick for the pass and whiff on the puck?
DOUBLE D’S! I LOVE DOUBLE D’S!
What size does to create room for smaller players. Cole is so imporant to this team.
“Hey Richard, two minutes for looking so good!”
Yes I could smell that one coming.
Would be nice to get one here as you know the next PP or two will be going the B’s way.
Christ almighty. If that Subban shot had hit someone, it would have killed them. What a bullet!
Sucks the powerplay can’t get it together.
And then we score….
Foot meet mouth
Weber and Diaz leading Habs in ice time so far tonight
“I went to a fight the other night and a hockey game broke out”
cammy at the point? really.. sheesh.. yeah he is good but not as a d
Cammy having a tough night
Awwww, poor teddy bears, is papa Campbell not here to save your ugly pathetic a**es.
Julien is a moron. He cannot control the refs but he might have a chance with his players … if they had brain cells.
off you go Ferrence (insert finger here )
second place is just the first loser
What did I tell you about Ferrence?
And the goof Julien condones that crap by freaking out like a banchee
EFFF you Julien and Efff your fricking apes
Where did they find refs that weren’t involved in love relationships with the Bruins? This is unbelievable. Cherry’s gotta be crying in his tinkerbell suit.
With all these calls going against the B’s it would appear Jacobs forgot to mail Bettman this month’s check.
How can Julien complain since when are you allowed to grab shoulder pad with hand on semi breakaway
Man that Gio is speedy…and a penalty whooohoooo
Good for Moen! and another penalty drawn by Gionta.
Nice to see their still aiming for the post.
How can you have team toughness when you don’t have any tough guys on the team
Wow we sure need a guy like Thornton… idiots
I love Moen but he needs back-up. he can’t do it alone.
chopping at Eller for no reason….dirty bastards…good on Moen….
AK is the worst at lollygagging at the line.
Moen sticking up for teammates!!
Goalpost playing hard for the habs!
Gionta making penalites rather then getting penalties.. yeah baby!
not just anyone hurt…just a Bruin player…yes..Horton getting leveled by Rome was very nice…I agree with that
is moen getting a penalty? wtf is the linesman wispering to the ape?
“Goon Level Rising”, isn’t that a Steven Seagal movie?
Why is everyone on the Bruins so ugly?
Coached by the king of ugly.
2 man forecheck causes icing, why haven’t we done this sooner?
No one wants to be the next person to walk the plank.
The sad thing is Montreal could win 8 – 0 and sweep Boston the entire year, but at the end of the day, until I witness a B uniform pulled off on a stretcher, nothing will be resolved.
Here’s to Chara … they don’t make stretchers that big … so it will suck even more.
There was HOrton
When Nathan Horton left on a stretcher after the Aaron Rome hit during the Cup final I kind of put that to rest.
You’re serious? You need to see someone seriously injured to set your mind at ease?
Nothing career threatening, but yes, I’d love to see a Hab throttle a Bruin into next frigging week…or see a Bruin tear their knee while gooning.
I wouldn’t have felt this way if the NHL did their job…or if the entire Bruins fanbase weren’t such a bunch of monkeys.
“or if the entire Bruins fanbase weren’t such a bunch of monkeys.”
And yet, here you are, representing all of us by saying you need to see someone suffer a serious injury in order for balance to be restored.
I’d love to see someone stand up a player like Seidenberg or Marchand with a good, stiff, legal hit, but nothing that’s going to endanger his health, career-threatening or not, and if I’m not in the majority there, this blog is full of thugs.
Edit: meant to add: I also find it amusing that you ‘justify’ your bloodlust by blaming the NHL, and Bruins fans.
Did I say anything about illegal? I’d like to see a Bruin layed out on a “strong hockey play” just like Max did. Get off your soapbox.
I’m a firm believer in eye for an eye.
I think when suggesting you want to see someone sent to the hospital, pointing out that you’d like it via a legal hit might be prudent.
And eye for an eye? That’ll just lead to more retribution down the road. It’s not like the Habs/Bruins rivalry started with Chara/Pacioretty, that’s just one of the more memorable, recent incidents. The quest for vengeance just opens up more of our players to injury.
Beat them on the scoreboard. Beat them in the standings. Beat them in the playoffs. THAT is how you get revenge, not looking for opportunities to open up our own guys to revenge-hits.
Perhaps you’d care for a return to 70’s-era hockey with line-brawls in every other game?
I just thought i should re-iterate how I always wanted Plex on point and Darche on power play
I’ve got to admit I agreed with everything Don Cherry said today. But who is on the CBC crew tonight? They are terrible… switched to RDS immediately!
Is Chara injured?
He didn’t look right in the last game and doesn’t look much better tonight. Not complaining, mind you, but he looks as though he has regressed to his early Islanders days.
Anybody else think that carcillo deserved more then 2 games
How about doubling the suspension every time you’re out for a hit to the head? Carcillo-type players would be gone for good by Christmas.
Habs played a much better puck possession game in the first than was the case durin’ the first period of the last two games. Couple of lucky bounces and Price was otherwise the better goaltender.
Marchand’s an effin’ weasel but he’s the only Br00nz who seems to consistently show up.
Pearn gone, no more too many men.
Conspiratorially theorizing again?
Who paid you to write that?
Somebody must’ve suggested to Carcillo that Pitkanen’s a six-fingered man.
dont get on me for not being a numbers guy or whos coming up the ranks, or even worse, who should be on what line and why im better than JM.
just viddy well the classic intermission memories…
kovalev v tucker…
sorry but i still put that 4th after dejardains goals and demairs calling mcsorley’s stick
I would put Rene Bourque up against Thorton anytime. Also he scores goals. Who would have thought.
Does anybody think the spate of Shanabans early on has changed the allure of the game? Is there more open space or have the Habs raised the bar? They used to stand stand around or skate backward when in the patented Martin defensive shell but now appear to be over the ice, and still heading things off at the pass plus are jumping into the play way quicker than before.
The Habs must keep their heads up with that type of play and avoid open ice hits.
personally i think patches put 3x the scratch on the board.
but hey….if it works ill drop 1/10th!!!
I was right – lost power at the two minute mark, took to the end of the period to find the remote internet link but it is too slow to stream so I have two hours of battery so it better end by 10 pm! So far we’ve lost two large branches off one of the maples in the front yard, hope we don’t lose more.
Could Pearn really have been the problem? Everyone is helping Price and special teams is even working. Great hockey. Let’s hope we don’t slip into customary “we’re winning, let’s relax”. I would love to see Mtl bury these insolent bed wetters and their cocky fans with them.
if it was his decision to keep Cole out of the PP so early on and to keep using Cammy continuously to kill off penalties.. partially to blame..
not sure if he was in charge of all special team plays..
or he was a yes yes guy to JM.. meaning he didnt argue with him..
hopefully they dont keep AK out of the PP unit..
Plex at the point i still think he shouldnt be there..
we ended the preseason vs the flyers
As long has the Habs skate then it will be hard for any team to play with them. All we need to do is pop this next one early in the second and watch the cheap shots from Boston.
To you from failing hands we throw the torch, be yours to hold it high.
Hi all, late to the show…anyone got any links that work, piece of crap cbc.ca isn’t working…thanks!!
Tony Halik died in 1998. He was a proud fighter. Also part of the British RAF in the WWII.
Eller has Rask’s number like Cammy has Fleury’s.
Love eller’s game. He’s flying out there. Also love that halak trade.
Go goalpost Go!
Loving watching Eller develop. Very impressed.
I could do with less Chicken Little in the Live Blog. Lucic wasn’t robbed. He made a good play to get the shot off but the shot was bush league.
Boston is a garbage team.
And the biggest piece of garbage is that goon Thornton.
First name is inter Ferenve.
Ferrence: “you guys know me. I’m not that kinda guy”
He’s a dirty piece of poop.
He is not only a POS, but an idiot too. Seriously? My glove got stuck? A kindergarten kid can come up with a better excuse.
I was just crying to the wife about that poor bastard Eller, how he might never score, and there you go.
And then Thornton tries to scare the boys. Happy Halloween!
They lost me 2 quarts of rum, better make it up next year with a cup!
WTF is going on here? Where did this fluid trapping system come from? They don’t stand around and trap anymore, they skate around and trap. Makes sense. Easier to counter when your feet are moving.
Lucic and Horton are so ugly. POS.
Boston a great job shooting for the post:)
Where do you put Gomez when he’s ready? Eller’s completely outplaying him. Should be interesting.
It will get dirty now that the Boston goons will be sent out.
Some sharp shooting tonight. Both goals have been clean and precise shots. Nice to see Eller score – he has been excellent.
A little early with Ole
At what point will it get dirty?
Helluva shot by Eller, finally breaks the ice
WOW! What a goal from Eller! Hopefully first of many this year.
Highlight reel stuff.
What great shot!!!
glitch in the matrix? mes non!
2-0 good guys!!!
MOTHER F^&&*%ERS AHAHAHAH YEAAAAAH
THATS LARS ELLER B*&&!!

Do you agree with the Canadiens' decision to sign Brian Flynn to a two-year, $1.9-million contract?
