I have not watching Coach’s Corner, nor Hot Stove since this season, but I remember when he was pushing for softer/smaller pads, which, like you said, predates the present concussion epidemic. I agreed with him to a certain point. (But Cherry was “mocked, derided and insulted” for other reasons than this)
I guess my point was more toward the lack of original individual thoughts from the HNIC crew.
Grapes did have this right – and he was the lone voice for a long time. And Hitler built Germany into a strong empire before he decided to exterminate nations like they were toys in his sandbox.
