Liveblog: Kings win 4-0, dust off the brooms

The only question is whether New Jersey can avoid a sweep.
The Devils had a chance, notably on an early 5-on-3 powerr play.
But they didn’t capitalize – NJ is 0-for the series with the man advantage – and a controversial goal by Alec Martinez sent the Kings on their way.
Anze Kopitar scored a highlight reel goal.
As if to rub it in on the punchless Devils, Jeff Carter and Justin Williams scored on L.A. power plays.
How’s this for a Cup-winning stat: 17 Kings have scored in the playoffs.
Nine different players have game-winners.
Not bad for an eighth seed, eh?

Jonathan Quick made 22 saves for his third shutout of the playoffs.

The Kings had 55 hits, led by Dustin Brown’s eight.

The Kings have led 3-0 in ALL FOUR of their playoff series.

And they haven’t played pushovers: Vancouver, St. Louis, Phoenix and now New Jersey.

This is so over.
