Well, for tonight anyway, the refs sure had a hand in it.
Ref blew the whistle about ten times on that debacle in front of the net. Wonder what would have happened if the puck subsequently trickled in.
So when the referee blows the whistle now, what exactly does that mean? Apparently, anything that happens after the whistle still counts, so why should either team stop when they hear the whistle?
The Candiens should just throw in the towel on competing in the NHL. They are no better than a group of reenactors in early July in Southern Pennsylvania wearing Confederate uniforms trying to revive spirits at Gettysburg!

How was that a goal and not high stick? Why did Price twitch on the shot. Seemed to me it was redirected by a high stick. That makes no sense. Something smells bad on that goal.

When was the last time the Canadiens had 3 players on the Canadian WJC team with Beaulieu, Bournival and Gallagher? The last time I can remember they had more than 1 player on the team was Price and Chipchura.
