The Darche-Plex-Bourque line was dominant tonight. They played in the 20 minute range and were the top PK unit. All three were +2. Gomez by contrast played 11:26 TOI with 0:06 seconds on the PP and 0:22 short handed, no points, +/- 0, 4-6 on face-offs for 40%. Gomez is the 4th line centre now.

so…7pts. behind the Leafs… wasn’t it just a week ago we were 12 pt. out and everyone was writing us off….couple more wins and we’re right back into the thick of things
The winning streak has to continue. They can’t play .500 hockey or allow for two losses in a row at this point.
If the Habs have 5 more wins than losses by the end of the month, then they are in the thick of things. Right now they are just officially not Tanking™ at the moment.
