RC is a NHL coach. Whether he coaches the Habs next year remains to to seen. I’d keep him. The big thing for me is there’s a timely adjustment in the strategy and use of players on the fore-check. Also, slowly I see better play from the players that matter and they are playing largely in the right circumstances and with the appropriate ice time. PK is under control. Pleky doesn’t play defeated – frustrated yes, but positive. The 2 1/3 men line is employed at the right level. Eller excels with whomever, but Leblanc looks good with him (can’t wait for Ryan White who should play on this line). I like that he uses 7 D and knows we’re limited with the bodies up front. This is intelligence. Mind you we’ve been playing 2nd-tier teams on this mini-streak (yes, I’m aware of our OT win over the Crosby and Staal-less Penguins) so the proof will be in our play against the Bruins, Capitals, and Devils next week. I’m with the tank, but I can’t help myself.
