The Canadiens blew open a tight game with three unanswered goals in the third period.
Captain Brian Gionta tipped in a lovely pass from P.K. Subban 48 seconds into the period.
Nine minutes later, P.K. Subban (with his second of the game) and Brendan Gallagher scored within 32 seconds to salt it away.
It was the Canadiens’ 11th road win of the season … and their first W in three tries against the Islanders.
Carey Price made 25 saves in his 16th win of the season.
Price was particularly outstanding during an Islanders power play in the second period.
Tomas Plekanec, David Desharnais and Max Pacioretty had two assists each.
P.K. Subban had two goals (nine, to lead NHL Dmen and a sixth on the PP) and an assist.

GO Habs Go take out the islanders

He has only two goals and a total of 10 points but he’s also got a +/- of minus 10

While I hope the Habs win,I don’t want them to knock the crap out of the Islanders,as they will need some confidence tomorrow nite vs Pittsburgh.
Who cares if MTL doesn’t finish ahead of Pitts. As long as we win the NE and finish 2nd overall, ahead of BOS and OTT, I’m good with that.
They usually walk away from us feeling confident
Who? The Islanders?
Pittsburgh owns the Islanders (especially Sidney Crosby):
Sidney Crosby awarded co-ownership of NYI
Watched a clip from AC yesterday: they were basically extremely ‘hesitant’ concerning Price.
Their conclusion was: his stats leave a lot to be desired. Funny, they were praising Halak (and others), but failed to bring up his stats this year or Rinne’s or Miller’s or Lundqvist’s. At least be fair for crying out loud.
They even used his stats on a 28th ranked team in the NHL being similar to THIS year’s stats to demonstrate that his performances over the years are wanting. What a joke. If he had the same stats on a horrible team, that means he was pretty good last year, i.e., the conclusion is not that he is consistently mediocre.
So the Isles think they can put out their back-up against the Mighty Habs?
I just played this game as Over 5.5… Looks good for tonight. lots of goals im thinking
Seems a number of teams have been playing their back ups against us….
Doughty hasn’t been as good as he usually is

Still a lock though, IMO.
In fairness to Therien, his comments about PK were only in response to a reporter’s question during the press conference.

Iyre Iyre everyone..having a blast in Jamaica but I sure miss my hockey!! Hope the boys start a new winning streak tonight
The Canadiens stormed the Sabres in the last 40mins of their last game and will be ready for the Islanders tonight after an embarrassing outing last time. Final score tonight, 5-1 Montreal.
I like your confidence!
6-3 Habs

Agree with you Mr. Boone about the DD line. Tavares was put on the ice every time DD was on last time. Will MT play along or make adjustments this time?

They are our Habs’ Bete Noire! Hide under the covers!
Michael Ryder will have a good game tonight, I believe.
Pierre LeBrun just said Minesota GM Chuck Fletcher also will not go for a rental this season…”would rather make a hockey deal than a rental deal”… they do not want to give up picks just for 12 games.
Also said Ryan Clowe would be a perfect fit for the Habs but MB is not interested in rentals (too expensive). UFA acquisition maybe?
“You’re always, always, always looking to make your team better. Always.”- Marc Bergevin
If anyone thinks the Islanders is a weak opponent for the Habs. Think again. Habs had better come to play 60 minutes or a surprise will be in place for them ….
I for one like the description of Dietz. Especially the mean streak part… Has anybody watch this guy?
Haven’t seen him in more than a period or two of hockey. I saw a segment on one of the sports stations about Patrice Briesbois working during a Blades practice with both Dietz and Thrower, great to see.
Seems like Dietz is proving that we have a pretty great judge of talent in Trevor Timmons, I think Dietz was a fifth round pick?
First place in my march madness pool, baby! Marquette and memphis scared me, though. How you guys doing?
I’m doing well but there are 410 entries in my pool. Miles to go.

And if they don’t measure up it’s PK’s fault.

No. But he did practice with them this morning. Full contact, so he should be good for Saturday.
I know concussions are no joke, but man have Bourque and Diaz missed some time, or what? It’s going to take both of them a few games to get back to form, methinks.

So the islanders are playing their backup tnite. Guess we’re in for a long night I guess again…
I’ve asked this elsewhere, but given that he’s apparently available, and that teams will be pursuing him, what would you offer Philly for Max Talbot? He’s a guy I’d add in a heartbeat to this club for a playoff run.

Very useful guy.
(You wanted more than that, right? Sorry!)
He will go back to PITT..

Brandon Prust doesn’t have hair on his testicles, because hair does not grow on steel….
Still mad Pierre Gauthier didn’t pursue him two summers ago, especially when we couldn’t put two lines together at the end of the season.
Emelin, but we get Talbot AND one of Phillie’s stiffs on defence like Foster, or somebody like that.
Hey Dunboyne! Love yor analogy with Cornerbacks. One of my all time favourites was Vernon Perry. Played with the Als in the 70″s. He was about 6ft 2 and 189lbs.but fast as hell with an unbelievable mean streak. I saw him line up a receiver in the Flats and knock his helmit off with his forearm on the way through. They were both down on the field after. Perry with a busted arm and the receiver out cold. Saludos!

hey guys I live in Victoria BC and am going to make my first pilgrimage to Montreal to see the habs play this season. We are looking at the last two home games vs Tampa and the Caps. There will be 4 of us going and I was wondering if anyone would have some tips on a good place to stay downtown fairly cheap. Also I haven’t purchased tickets to the games yet. Any ideas of a good place other than ebay and ticketmster to find tickets to the games.
thanks guys. GO HABS GO!!!!!!!
Scalpers, sadly.
any idea how much you should expect to pay for a couple tix in the nosebleeds?
Uh I guess they normally go for about 50$, so maybe an extra charge of 10-20$? I never buy from those guys so I don’t really know.
Might wanna check the ticket vault on the Habs website, though I think this late not much will be left.
thanks thats a good starting point.
Craigslist or kijiji…
Stay at Chez Pare. Once you there you won’t want to leave anyway.
just from reading the comments on this site about Chez Pare over the years, its on the list of attractions for sure.
Yeah I hear the view is very nice there.
What are you, their promotional advertiser?
You sound exactly like that sexy commercial, except I prefer her voice.
Sorry Timo, you don’t cut it buddy!
Missing an e there. It’s Chez Paree
My wife and I made the trip a couple of years ago – we stayed at Le Nouvelle Hotel – nice spot – walking distance to the rink. We decided to stay a few more days than planned and picked up tix for the next game from Stubhub – a bit expensive, but great seats.
For hotels go to http://www.kayak.com or http://www.expedia.ca and you should be able to find a decent downtown hotel like the Holiday Inn, Delta or Hilton at a good price. You’ll be close to everything.
For tickets http://www.Stubhub.com has a good selection and a dandy interface for finding the tickets of your choice.
I use StubHub. Depends on the game but I got the bottom of the 300 level for $125 for this Saturday’s game. There was nosebleeds for less than $75.
Coming all the way from B.C., spend the extra $50!
Stubhub.com is another site, it’s pretty good b/c you’re usually buying from a season ticket holder who can’t go.
http://www.stubhub.com/montreal-canadiens-tickets/
There are links on there to the games you mentioned. It looks like there are over 600 tickets still available for each game. Hope this helps.
Ah Jeeze, not that soccer sh*t again!
Don’t understand?
What is It with soccer ?
As a sports fan, why trash other sports ?
I get liking one sport over another but why is soccer always gettin’ ripped on within hockey circles ?
Habs, OLE !
I actually have no problem with soccer – an incredible game. I do, however, have an issue with the players who writhe around like they’re dying when the replay shows they weren’t even touched, then jump up and are fine. To me it wrecks the game.
So what you’re saying is that Claude Julien is coaching the wrong sport?
It’s the unrelenting falling down and clutching a leg. It’s the ridiculous offside rule. It’s one official on the field trying to arbiter 22 players. It’s the sport that invented the shittiest thing you can do to a team sport: Penalty kicks to win a TEAM game. Lastly, it’s looking at a team’s jersey and seeing nothing but bleeping advertising while the crest is some tiny thing hidden away that you can barely make out.
Word.
C’mon Cal.
The MLS jerseys aren’t like that.
I’ll give it to you for dramatics during injury (any one of those teams could sign Marchand), but it’s a great sport.
And the penalty kicks are like penalty shots.
If you don’t want our team to have to face one, stay disciplined.
Great sport, soccer. More fun to play though
The penalty kicks are not like penalty shots. The kicker has to hit a barn door, the goalie isn’t even allowed to move until the ball is contacted, except they always do, but it doesn’t matter unless the kicker guesses wrong and kicks it right to him, or misses the barn door entirely, which he shouldn’t because he’s a pro, but maybe the mousse in his hair is emitting noxious fumes and making him dizzy.
A penalty shot is a valid display of skill, in which a shooter has a chance to score, but which the goalie can with athleticism and insight stop the majority of the time.
Apples and oranges.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight! Is that the Montreal Bell that plays down in the east end? OR the Vancouver Bell on the west coast. The Toronto BMO?

There is SO much wrong with the professional game that all its amazing qualities (cf Spain’s passing ability in the Euros) are utterly negated.
I have a bit of a problem with soccer, for a few reasons. I briefly rattle off a few of them, objectively, in the article I link below.
http://relentlessineptitude.blogspot.ca/2012/06/euro-shmeuro-soccer-is-terrible.html
Saving for later. Looking forward to it.
Good read.
Don’t get me started on Don’tTouchMeBall, where 7 foot tall players impress by leaping three inches off the ground to “slam dunk”.
No, don’t YOU get me started.
Oh, look at the tall guy, see how he reached up? What an athlete!
Put a goalie up there, and then let’s see you dunk. Then I’ll applaud.
The “playing the advantage” rule is what causes all the diving in soccer in that the ref will not call an infraction if the player with the ball still has a chance to score. If they did a delayed penalty like in hockey, there would be less diving IMO.

Further to the Lupul hit,
in an effort to eliminate egregious fouls like head shots and boarding how about a “Red Card” like they have in soccer where the team would play a man short for the rest of the game or at least 17 minutes in the case of a minor, major, misconduct.
______________________________________________________
“It’s just an opinion – I could be wrong”
We already have enough soccer plays with embellished injuries (hello Mike Ribeiro, Brad Marchand, et al)
Not talking about soccer antics, but soccer punishment.
If you commit a serious-enough offense your team plays short-handed for the rest of the game.
______________________________________________________
“It’s just an opinion – I could be wrong”
‘Twas only a joke. I don’t think you could do the red card thing, as it would affect the game too drastically. The idea of DDO below has merit. A pre-fixed suspension for certain fouls that escalates with every subsequent foul. Expample: 5 games for a hit from behind into the boards. The next one gets 7, then 9, etc. The result would be that players with no respect for others would learn respect, or they would find they no longer have a job as teams can’t afford to have a player on the books who is always suspended.
Every player in the league embellishes in a effort to draw a penalty ,some are just better actors . I ask you this ,was moving Riberio a mistake or would the Habs love Marchand on the team? …you bet!
I, for one, would hate to have Marchand on the Habs. Have never liked his brand of player. My reference to soccer antics was about players who fall down like they’ve been shot, then get up like nothing happened. It’s embarassing. Guess maybe I’m old-school – if I got hurt I tried to crawl off the ice rather than lie there.
Understood and my approach as well but the rule changes have made the game different. As for Ribs ,well he played on a small Habs team with no back-up and was doing what he could to help win “no Grammy for him, lol” He’s a top 10 scorer after all this time and had his first fight last week defending Ovie of all people and didn’t do too bad,who knew?
Yup – Ribeiro has surprised alot of people, myself included. I thought he was on his way out of the NHL years ago. He does seem to have matured over the years – funny how that happens.
Marchand has great talent and is very competitive.
But he is a negative integer on the “class” scale. Some teams are ok with that; I hope MOntreal isn’t.
I would prefer pre-fixed suspension lengths. First time 5, then 15, then bye bye.
“You’re always, always, always looking to make your team better. Always.”- Marc Bergevin
I’ve actually been a proponent of the same – escalating suspensions. Eventually certain players would get the message, or they would be gone for so long that they would stop being dangerous.
Would you throw in some fines, too? Preferably to the owners — they’re the ones resisting efforts to increase player safety.
Good idea to propose, but I guess it would be a bit heavy given that hockey has only 5 skaters compared to 10 players on pitch, excepting goalie/keeper.

CH in my neck of the woods so I’m off to the Game. There should be no complacency tonight, Isles have a decent team and have showed it this year..They did allow 4 goals in the 3rd against Ottawa Tuesday so if we play our game and STAY OUT of the BOX, it should be fun. Go Habs Go.

There really is no rhyme or reason, huh? The league is going to lose a life someday and perhaps that will motivate a change. Until then we will see more of this garbage.
Apparently the home version of Shanahan’s “Wheel of Suspensions®” will be released this Xmas.

I like.
No it won’t motivate a change.
The league will go with the no-such-thing-as-bad-publicity philosophy and calculate that more people will tune in (as many do to Formula 1/Nascar for the same morbid reason).
Apologies for cynicism — there is a seriously scummy element among the suits.
While I share your opinion, I wonder why it is the league seems to always favor the Montreal Canadiens’ rivals…
I wonder if we are just epically in tune and instinctually perfect, or just seem to always only see one side.

Wow 72! I agree with all that, but that has to be the most your post has ever matched your avatar image!
Asking for a win on Long Island. Is it too much to ask? Remember what they did to you the last 2 times you played them. Go Habs!!!
Follow-up question for the same dmen.
There was much assertion in the aftermath of PK’s attempted hit to the effect that, had he connected, one or both players would have ended up hospitalised and PK in trouble.
Is that correct? Since when can a dman not hit a fast-moving forward as he crosses the blue line? I mean, the forward is expecting to be hit, right?
I only played to Junior C, but Subban has thrown that same kind of hit before — see his destruction of Brad Marchand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmAm3qCNVTU.
If you catch a player, square, like Subban did with Marchand, the force of the impact is diffused through your shoulders, back, and hips – effectively a perfect transfer of your force into the opposing player, resulting in their demolition. The commentators (and I did not hear the comment) may have made their points based on the fact that Pysyk is a big boy. Don’t know if they both would have been hurt, but Subban would have felt it.
Cheers.
Actually, are you a rugby player? I was thinking of rugby with my first question. I played wing, and there was that rule about sticking to your opposite wing even when defending an overlap (ie. which could end up with you defending a two-on-one, often DID on the teams I played on!). Sometimes it worked to abandon your guy and destroy the ball-carrier, especially if you could time it so that he was just receiving the ball (ie. no chance of an off-load).
Sometimes worked. Sometimes got burnt, and then microwaved by coach!
This PKanian tactic is properly referred to as:

Repost.
Question for defensemen/former defensemen/NHL 13 defensemen.
On PK’s controversial OT hit attempt: it was a 2-on-2, and the convention is cover your man, don’t take yourself out with a big hit. Don’t you occasionally want to do something OTHER than the convention, in case that’s what your opponents are expecting, in case wiping out one attacker leaves the other one with fewer options?
(And I have another question).
I believe there was nothing wrong with him attempting a hit.
1. He was targeting a rookie defenseman with his head down who was unlikely to make him pay with a good offensive play even if he missed.
2. The upside of that play is a 4 on 3 with one of the Sabre defenseman caught in the Habs’ zone.
The reward far outweighed the risk in my opinion. The call was unlucky and obviously wrong.
Without the call, there’s no harm because his check caused an offside.
Also, nothing says that Price shouldn’t have stopped that puck.
Can’t get past the double negative, Timo. It’s later here than it is in Canada…
Thanks. What you say is more or less what I was thinking until all the hoo-hah broke out here.
Man this is a question that requires a detailed answer and I just don’t have it in me. Essentially, that’s a nice hit to throw, but not at that time of the game, not with his teammates positioned as they were, and not with such reckless use of arms/stick.
No (good) coach would ever practice that play or suggest it given the circumstances
So, basically, legitimate defensive play, but not in OT, and witht a tider approach. (Someone posted to ALN to the effect that PK’s limbs were all over the place and therefore a penalty waiting to happen).
But the position of teammates. They were behind the play, right, and the other forward in the zone was covered. Are you saying the (good) coach would insist on committing to the puck rather than the body.
(Thanks btw – and I know what you mean about not having the full answer in you!)
The Habs had a point in the bag when PK took a risk. They could have easily lost in the shootout. Max took a chance when the point was still at risk. They could have lost the point and came away with nothing. Which play was worse? Obvious to me….
“You’re always, always, always looking to make your team better. Always.”- Marc Bergevin
One play was accidental, one was a calculated risk
Habs are second in the league for goaltender interference penalties…Max should have known better…
“You’re always, always, always looking to make your team better. Always.”- Marc Bergevin
Thanks DDO.
So the hoo-hah here (HIO) was a bit overboard?
Part of the problem is the way PK makes those hits. When he leads with his backside, if the other player sees it and dodges, PK can’t adjust. On the penalty (or non-penalty in this case) this is exactly what happened. PK tried to adjust and ended up a little out of control. Though his stick missed, I think he could just as easily have been called for elbowing as he tried to make some contact with the opposing player.
Cheers Winnipeg. Yeah, I paraphrased a poster in reply to Twilight above.
I guess all the stars lined up in perfect constellation for Marchand.
Hopefully not for the last time!
Look at some Kronwall hits (Detroit) on youtube. In short, he is the best at the type of hit PK was trying to throw where you quickly close the gap on a player skating backwards. Kronwall is considered among the best D-men in the league, so it is a legitimate hockey play. The game situation for that type of hit wasn’t ideal, not the play itself.
Bodychecking is all about timing and and backward skating ability for a defenseman. PK is obviously a great skater but he was a little off on his timing on that check.
Emelin in general has amazing timing and strong backward skating ability, that’s why he is such a good bodychecker. I love watching him bodycheck. Watch tonight how quickly he can close the gap on a forward.
Wasn’t criticizing the way PK hits – when it works (which is almost always) it’s awesome. Just pointing out the potential flaw. When you hit someone the “normal way” you have a better opportunity to adjust. Having said that, I’d actually like to see PK put the body on a few more players, in whichever fashion he sees fit.
I agree with you, when you miss on a hit like that, you are way out of position.
Great example in Kronwall, Phil. Also Emelin (who we will lose if doesn’t switch on his fight-inhibitor). And, just like cornerbacks, it’s that instinct and speed for closing the gap. I seem to remember Larry R being a master as well, but more often into the boards than open ice.
The short answer is the correct answer: not a time to go for a committed hit. No coach I ever had told me NOT to hit in that situation. You almost always ‘play the crest’ in that situation. But the sound advice was always to avoid over-committing on the play. Even if you connect, odds are that you will also take yourself out and leave the puck free for a trailer (since your partner is going to be covering the other attacking forward and the path to the net).
Cheers Gerry. Yeah, the trailer.
I’m sure the fundamental notion of not over-committing is hardly an alien concept to a pro, so I can’t help wondering how PK came to opt for the big hit.
Exactly, Mike. The penalty was the least of it. It was the old PK. Going for a hollywood hit on a rush in OT is dumb 100% of the time.
Five on five in the middle of a game? Different situation. Every now and again you want to hand out one of those “keep your head up” hits that makes the opposition a little more tentative. But if you miscalculate, you’re not forfeiting the game on the spot.
Cheers!
Ah yes! Here we go again, Topless A Go Go!

I kind of wish now that the leafs had traded for Luongo and traded Kadri away it would have been really funny to see him play well and all the leafs fans cry
http://nickolaisblog.wordpress.com/
Luongo for Bozak, Kadri, and change, how bad is Mike Gillis kicking his own ass right now for turning that down? If It were my team, I’d cry. But as it is it’s a total LOL.

He’s an arrogant GM…why would anyone want to deal with a guy who wants to openly rip you off? He’ll bend over at the draft…

What’s the verdict on lupus?
Who the heck is Kevin Poulin? Why is it that every team seems to have a French Canadian goalie to throw in against us?
Light him up like the Vegas strip, I say.
Wasn’t he the goalie for “Les Boys”?

Federal Budget in 2 minutes
I don’t think the Habs will be affected.

I’m really tired of watching the Habs play stinky games against teams they should beat. And I’m really happy that that is the only thing I have to complain about this year!!

I see your foreshadowing and raise you a:
+32 x 2.
Haha. You sneaky devil.
20 in 30 would be pretty outstanding.

Agreed on both counts. It would be great to see the Habs play a complete game tonight. If they are on, the Isles are simply no match.
Saw this comment on another site Had to share… it was about the Leafs looking at acquiring Kipprusoff…
To Toronto: Kipper + JBo + Baertschi
To Calgary: Reimer + Komisarek + Connolly + CMac
Leaf Fans… gotta love ‘em.
The Leafs and Calgary do have a history of making big trades between them.
I think some of the guys doing trade proposals on this site are moonlighting on Leafs’ sites, haha.

HIO13 is being expanded.
Today on HIO13 I was able to have Michel Therrien publicly flogged for failing to tie Subban’s skates for him. That game is growing on me.

Burke is the GM of Calgary now?

I just love fans trade posts that are variations of “our crap for your good players” … always dressed up as sincere efforts to fix a problem on the other team.

TSN gives PK the #2 ranking for D-men
http://www.tsn.ca/fantasy_news/feature/?ID=10465
Oops – just realized that was just fantasy ranking. Couldn’t figure out why TSN would rate him that high – especially when he embellishes and goes for the big hit and puts himself out of position so much.
And Francois Beauchemin is rated #3.
Do the Leafs know about this?
Shows that the leafs didn’t know how to use him properly and the Wilson is a bad coach!
http://nickolaisblog.wordpress.com/
Shows that Wilson like Martin where past they expiration date
Does Bob? He signed Spatcho instead of him…

“It’s just an opinion – I could be wrong”
I’m not sure if its because I tend to ignore the reports on the Leafs, but I’ve noticed that Nonis stays quiet and Carlyle doesn’t speak as much as Wilson and Burke, which is great because those too idiots were on as much as they could be, anyone else notice?
http://nickolaisblog.wordpress.com/
No one in the NHL talks as much as Wilson and Burke.
not since Pierre McGuire was left out of the loop

Anyone care to guess where most of the Islanders have had their pre-game meals when in Montreal for nearly twenty years?
Probably some caffe where they can order pasta.

And not be bothered by members of the OQLF.

How big are their portions?

If you look at that Lupul hit and the one Max layed on Letang last year ,Lupul should get at least two games.
That’s how I feel too

Moulson always does well against us…let’s hope that ends tonight!
Somebody pump him fulla molsons.
Sustr? Can he handle his Dukes?
Serious question:
As a Unilingual RDS watcher what are the:
Mises-en-jeu?
Mises-en-echec?
Some of the terms I just can’t sort out.
are they Scoring Chances and Hits?
faceoffs and bodychecks
Merci
My pleasure.
Mise au jeu= faceoff
mise en echec= body check
Merci
My personal favourite: “saisit en vol” (not sure about the spelling)
Literal translation: “grabbed in flight” (i.e. the puck)
Gonna move the Sustr question to right about…
Here:
Sustr? Any thoughts/opinions from the prospect watchers around these parts? At 6’8, 200+ he’d satisfy the size guys for sure…
He’s from Plzen in Czech Republic… like Kaberle and Plecky.
I dunno that’s all I got. Just trying to spark some discussion.
(I’m probably stopping at the pub, then grabbing a case of buck-a-beers on the way home from the pub).
He’s a project. Not very physical considering his size.
There are 25 or more NHL teams interested in him.
He likely needs AHL time, but he’s a good project to invest in.
I did a top 7 look at College prospects up on the site earlier in the week, if you want more in depth on him or Laganiere, DeKeyser, etc…

Replace Markov with Tinordi on the PK. Give him a rest and give the big man a shot. Can’t hurt…
“You’re always, always, always looking to make your team better. Always.”- Marc Bergevin
I’d take away Markov’s PK time before touching his PP time.
Also would try Emelin on the PP before Tiny.
Edit: Sorry I read PP not PK.
And I was all like… waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahat?
Where’s Nuna? I miss the little bugger.
Folks in Toronto put something in his beer and he is under the weather for awhile I am guessing.
We’ll see him if NY wins tonight.
The Habs are winning and playing well, why would he post here?

Maybe Boone forgot the password to his other account?
Lupul insists that Hedman turned into the middle “last minute”:

Another “tough guy” who knows nothing is going to happen to him because of Fraser, Orr, etc….coward.
“You’re always, always, always looking to make your team better. Always.”- Marc Bergevin
I’ve seen the hit maybe 15 times and I have yet to see Hedman turn towards the middle at any point. It was a blindside headshot that was late as well.
He definitely turns when Lupul’s shoulder cracks him in the jaw…
Lupul is a turd plain and simple
http://nickolaisblog.wordpress.com/
if it was an accident lupul’s elbow wouldn’t have come up like that. it’s the same s*@$ from these guys every time. why can’t someone show a bit of class for once and say “yea i did it and it was dumb. i hope he’s ok.”
What a joke: Hedman towers over Lupul and somehow Lupul’s *shoulder* comes into contact with Hedman’s head.
Oh look, Boone’s awake. New thread.
Happiest
Every game is a measuring stick game for Price. He’s the only one with a red light that comes on when he makes a mistake. But you’re right, I think I’d start Budaj tonight maybe.
Still comes down to what MT thinks.

et tu, Boonus?
Lol sure, good analysis Freud.
True. He needed to be square to Tavares. He keeps making himself look small in net Cube made a bonehead play as well.
No D plays for the backwards pass. The high slot would have been an easier shot to stop for Price, no?
You know the score, terry
High slot is not his responsibility there, sorry. There is a sniper bearing down on the goalie with the puck on his stick.
Pricebot. Don’t bother
Aight man, go home, you’re drunk.
Still time to turn it around though
No problems on the PP, but the PK needs work.

Have no problem with giving it to him either, because by the time he gets it, the CAP with be much larger than it is now.
