this sounds crazy but i am almost relieved they are knocked out. For some weird reason i thought they could squeak ini know i know i was delusional but hey im only human. judging by tonight’s game we dont have the quality players to keep up with the big boys at the moment. could be due to a few injuries but i think im not crazy when i say we need some more talent, especially on d. montreal playoff hockey is all i look forward too in the spring time and it cuts like a knife not being able to take part in that, as it is a family tradition almost like a religion to be glued to the tv watching. anyways thank you guys everyone on this site whether negative or not because i know what its like being a habs fan and ill be the first to admit that at one second i can be a negative nelly and a second later i can be so happy and optimistic about the team. anyways this year is over but there are very good points like having 2 thirty goal scorers i cant remember the last time we had that happen. i spend more time on this website (not actually posting but reading ) than any other website , here is to the good times and to the bad times like tonight, cheers (as i take a drink to my vodka and coke) hopefully next year and in the future years we have nothing but positives to talk about.

We can match up physically with 30 to 40 % of NHL teams against most NHL teams …it’s these type (Flyers, Bruins, Blues, etc etc) that We realize Our Team still must get bigger
It’s easy to see the vets has mail this it but the young players please enjoy the AHL. The younger players, you have this shot to prove something and you all failed very very poorly. If I was a young player this is my game. I be going like a bat out of hell every second on the ice. Looks like we ll have the same line up next year if the leadership goes by their effort. I am very disappointed in these nothing games that not one young player has taken this op to prove something.
i wouldn’t say the vets have mailed it in. Cole hasn’t. George hasn’t. pleks is playing well tonight.. What vet has mailed it in?
Give me a break just because you skake evey 3rd or forth shift a bit. Their powerplay is just a joke there is very little effort there. Pleks has mail this season in before the trade deadline.
The PP has been horrible all year, it won’t change now. (Muller I think was the reason for good PP in the past few years). Some vets have not mailed it in (see above comments)… our young guys are not good enough. We need a new GM to make good tough choices in the off season.
