Second game of a road back-to-back.
A parade to the penalty box.
A couple posts hit.
And they never quit.
JM has to go.
Ron Maclean is such a douche! Talking about how softer shoulder pads will lead to more shoulder injuries. BETTER THE SHOULDER THAN THE HEAD!!
For MacLean and Cherry the head is not important.
They have made a career of not using theirs for many years.
“Hey Richard, two minutes for looking so good!”
What Kempie said.
**** my ******* **** you bunch of ******* *** ******* idiot ******* moron **** ******* *****s!!!!!!!!
Woah man, was it something I said? Mybad!
Sorry man, it’s not you. T. Peel makes me all *********. I hope we pump 6 shorties past HL this period and Peel loses his ******* money anyway.
**** that ******* pile of steaming donkey ****.
Weber has been ok of late but he often gives to much room and we just paid the price for his mistake. That 4th goal is on Weber.
Shhh, you cant say that, HH might tell you that you should be in bed like a child, since your not blaming Price.
Calm down guys, it’s not over yet!
The Manapartalikes will be out soon if our team doesn’t win tonight.
God help us…
Heaven forbid Halak does well tonight. The alien invasion will be back.
I always wanted to visit Saturn.
“insert uranus joke here”
Halak? I doubt he’s even starting lol
Oh I see he’s getting the start. JD must have gotten a twitter from Walsh.
Play me or trade me?
Here ya go Allan
Ph- 204 724 8418
Go watch the Richards goal again. How in the **** is that a soft goal? Even if Price wasn’t screened, it would not have been soft.
I think he looked weak on the Girardi goal (On his knees) but give me a break.
And as far as Price not making the right saves at the right time…guess you missed the entire 2010-2011 season.
And the last 4 games.
Haters gonna hate – don’t worry about it too much.
Over the course of a full year, Carey’s going to let in around 150 or so goals. He’ll be blamed for a large portion of them. Stuff happens.
GO HABS GO! 2011-12 is our year!
RGM’s Movember page: http://mobro.co/RGM81
It’s not a soft goal JayBee..it’s a tough save he has to make. Has to. I bet he’ll say the same thing after the game. That was a backbreaker and he was down and back in his net.
Without Price, this is not a playoff team. He has to make up the difference with elite play. And he isn’t doing that tonight. It’s a lot to ask to hold teams to 2 or less goals but that’s what he has to do with the help of the team.
except this is the 2011-2012 season.
and yet your material never changes.
Some nights they go in & some nights; they ring off the post
Well we got 2 quick goals like I asked for, but then the curse of the last minute of play in the period kicked in and they scored. 3rd period will be intense, we will score 1st (I call Cole) then stupid penalties will be called and Moen will tie it up! Intense play will continue the the curse of the last minute of the game will be on the Rangers and Cammi will score the Winner off the inside post!
GO HABS GO!
Boston leads 5-0 against Toronto!
A 5-0 Bruins/Leafs game has two minors called, one apiece, and we get…this…?
So, the Leafs are human afterall, iiiiinteresting…..
Well JM you listenered to me about the passing and it is improving. Now here is how to fixed Cammy. Put a piece of ply wood in front of the next. Take about a 100 pucks then tell him you shoot till you complenty destroy the plywood if it take you two days. You do not get back on the ice til you do. Then maybe then you ‘ll hit the GD net.
REALLY REALLY ARE SOME OF YOU STILL HALAKIANS??? How the hell can you even say a bad thing about Price sinces hes the only reason we are 500 this year so far. If you want, go to NHL.com and look for the blues there, and look how good Halak is sitting on the bench. Even better , go look up soft goals, because Richards goal was far from soft, NO player should be that close to the net, with NO ONE on him. But hey, lets not blame Weber for blown coverage, or Cammalleri on the 3rd, its all Prices fault.
HOW BOUT WE FIRE THE MASTERMIND OF THE SYSTEM!!
DOWN WITH JM.
Why are you still up? Don’t you have church in the morning? Now scoot up those stairs Scooter!
Leave him alone. His parents let him stay up late since they bought him his new laptop.
Wow, you 2 are peas in a pod.
thats for both of you to go cry looking at Halak no longer in a habs uniform.
Maybe soon out of a Blues uniform 😉
Then who will HH blame? Its Prices fault that Halak got traded, and its ALSO prices fault that Halak is not the superman he thought he was even in St Louis?
Man, what a PISSER, I had such a great day on the golf course, I was hoping for a Habs win tonight.
Habs getting jobbed tonight boys. Save yourself the frustration and just assume the loss. Truly heinous officiating.
Tim Peel = Anus official
H’anus would have been funnier Danno. You slipping pardner. 😉
Much better period on account of, y’know, goals being scored by our team. Should be a dandy of a third period.
GO HABS GO! 2011-12 is our year!

Bullet in a pewee league
Wells thats the ball game can’t blame that on the refs . With that said can’t be easy to play the night before and then kill off 100 pentlies. These refs need to be investigated.
cammy and gianta are due to score some goals.
Weber and Price share the blame on that one. Four posts, ridiculous!
never seen so many dives in my life……..what a joke…………..the refs must have got paid to-nite……….ahaaaaahit in the face with a stick ranger player fell to the ice WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT
Price still lets a soft one in at key points. He’s a great goalie but to be elite (Roy, Brodeur level) he’ll have to tighten his game up..He’s the least of our problems obviously but there are points in a game where a save matters more than at other times.LIke at 3-2 near the end of the second for instance..
I don’t think that was a soft goal. The shot was a bullet.
Not only that, but when a goalie can’t see the puck come off the stick, even if it’s only for the first couple feet of the shot, they are severely handicapped in their ability to make the save.
bullet from behind a screen.
“Andrei Kostitsyn is a better hockey player than Max Pacioretty”
– Sean Bonjovi
it was a wrist shot.
1 softee as per usual for Price.
Screen shot at center of the zone by a Brad Richards…hardly a soft goal.
A bullet..yes. But he shoulda had it..in fact he HAS to have it since he is the difference between a playoff team and early golf for Les Habs .
Soft goal? not really..but one an elite goalie makes the save on.
So where would you rank Price, then? I would call him elite, but I must be missing something
Somewhere between 5 and 10 in the league and moving up, in my books.
Needs to win a couple of playoff rounds to go higher.
As for the “elite” tag, it is overused. If there are 30 #1 goalies in the league, what percentage of them are “elite”? What are the ranks? I would say Price is a star goalie, but not necessarily a superstar/elite goalie, if that makes any sense.
You’ve never seen Roy play I gather.
4 posts for the Habs tonight.
What’s that, four posts this period? This game is bollocks.
Dammit, 2 posts…
Refs and posts against us tonight…
Yeah, about that love affair with Weber…
Classic Price…momentum buster…unable to make saves at right time…
Yea, he should have stopped a shot from the hashmarks with a defender screaning him. GTFOH!
Price really should’ve had that…
Yeah, Richards is the modern-day PJ Stock of shooters. 😉
NEW YORK – NHL director of officiating Terry Gregon has taken the criticism of fans to heart and will start suspending referees whose incompetence influences the outcome of games.
“Having been a referee myself for years, I know our profession is riddled with officials who are consistently inconsistent, some would even say just rotten,” he said. “That’s got to change.”
Although the league has policies in place to discipline referees guilty of egregious calls, the rising level of incompetence among the men in stripes suggests the system isn’t working.
“I think my colleague, Brendan (Shanahan, the league’s chief disciplinarian), has the right idea,” Gregson said. “Single out examples of bad conduct, to send a message it will no longer be tolerated.”
Gregson played a video clip of a recent call that had knowledgeable hockey fans shaking their heads. A player knocked down a puck carrier with a solid body check and was given a minor penalty for interference.
“If I didn’t know better, I’d say that referee bet on the game,” Gregson chuckled. “But I know the fellow and he’s no cheater. He’s just stupid.”
Gregson isn’t worried such blunt talk will get him into hot water with the officials union. He played the clip five times, in slow motion, from different angles, and then five more times at regular speed.
“Stupid, right? Yep, that’s the way I see it, too. The NHL Officials Association will be hardpressed to argue against disciplinary action,” Gregson said, as he picked up the phone to tell the referee he was being suspended for five games.
The clip and phone call have been posted to http://www.shameshameshame.nhl, along with hundreds of other calls that have inflamed hockey fans across North America the past week.
We are two very like minded creatures sometimes JB. 😉
Perhaps we were separated at birth. Were you born in a remote village at the foot of the Grampians in Scotland on a dark winter’s night, with rain pelting the windows of the broken-down van?
Wait. Never mind. That was my sister. Back to the game.
That could be the nail in the coffin right there. Helluva shot though
Weber….that was bad. Can’t let a guy like that have that much space.
Looked like Price was too far in the crease.
WTF was Weber doing there? Back off, let him shoot. Nice play, moron.
man cole skates like a thuroughbred! i dont remember him being that fast in carolina…. FFS rangers score…. im not commenting again till the games over.
Another unnecessary backdown by the D… challenge them!
Where was Price on that one?
Leave Halak out of this.
Eller and Cole should play together on the amazing moves cant finish line
Gill for all his experience sure has difficulty clearing the zone
Dang it! Cole and Eller are so damn snakebit! I hate seeing guys work their buts off and not get the breaks..
COLE! Holy sheet!
What happened to Nokelainen?
BS Game misconduct
Man Columbus needs some serious changes. 8-0 Flyers in 2nd.
I know. No way the Flyers score 8 against a real NHL team. No way
Nice Cole move by Eller
Got here late. What happened to Nokelainen?
Too depressing. Don’t ask. All I have to say is F the Refs.
“Oh goodie my seat on the bandwagon is still warm.” now that was funny…
second place is just the first loser
Callaghan take acting lessons ?
Habs r gonna win this one folks….
Callahan, who should not be in the game, has now drawn 3 penalties
ffs, it’s time for a shortie.
I hope Blunden gets the GWG
Bluejackets down 7-0 to Philly.
Pack your bags CBJ coach and/or GM
Flyers are OVERRATED!!
I like the way the team isn’t giving up. They played well on that PP. Earlier this season, and most of last, it would have been lights out down 0 – 3. This is still a game.
we have scored 2 goals now because we were not in the box…………………………SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO GUYS WHEN YOU PLAY HOCKEY ON THE ICE NOT IN THE PENALTY BOX!!!!!!!!!! GO GUYS GO!!!!!!!!!I BELIEVE
OMG AK scores!
wait what the bleep is he on the PP..
he must have snuck in..
Nice sequence but PK has to work on that golf swing. 4 shots and only one hits the mark, off the post.
I know. He is killing my hockey pool!!
Oh too bad the Rangers PK was exhausted
Nice pressure on the PP….
Great PP — our D cannot hit the net from the point
The boys have life!
Ehhh! Sit on it Fonzie!
Oh goodie my seat on the bandwagon is still warm.
Ok… we’ve definitely got the hottest fans there…
Boooya, beyaches! AK!
RE-SIGN THAT BELARUSSIAN!
BOO YAH BABY!!!
