Second game of a road back-to-back.
A parade to the penalty box.
A couple posts hit.
And they never quit.
” let’s all switch to the football game” Hey Boone who ya got for the Alabama-LSU game? I know it isn’t related to the Habs, but I was just wondering.
MUST score here, couple make-up calls
Would there be a ballet performer that the Habs could get that would be tougher and quicker on D than Gill
Atta boy Gio
That’s me on the camera tonight. How am I doin?
Finally a PP! At the rate the refs were handing us penalties I figured they’d get Gomez in the box soon!
Torella is pissed he yelled at the refs hey it said right here in the script Habs get no PP untill were up by 5 with less than 4 minutes to go in the game.
Ah boys, boys, get a hold of yourselves you just called a penalty on a blueshirt…….oh well mistakes happen
Fu**in toronto refs
What’s the over/under on the even up call?
Now watch the refs call another Habs penalty within the next 30 seconds to make it a 4 on 4.
My God…all that and the first Habs PP comes because Gio steps on the puck. How are these refs in the NHL ?
Seriously, for a sec there, I was certain they were gonna call that on us.
is this a joke…candid camera right?
second place is just the first loser
Daddy Campbell @ TOR BOS game in an unofficial capacity.
Refs cut us some slack there, Gionta stepped on the puck
I don’t believe it.
FINALLY ONE CALL FFS.
Wow! They finally called one.
What a joke — funny thing is Gio tripped on the puck
Nice take down Price!
I’m surprised they called that offsides
Heh, looked like Pleks was saying… “I was thinking of passing the puck but then I saw it was you and I was like… naah”
Wow. I’ve never seen someone’s legs fly out from under them like that when the contact is at the other end of their body.
“Hello? Columbus? Have I got a deal for you! Young up-and-comer named Gomez…What? Yeah, Gomez…Hello?…….Hello?”
Are you kidding me if I was the coach I woud have my hands around that Striped assholes throat. This is another Carolina jole wher they got 11 powerplats and the Habs 0. Ok Boone it time for the Gazette to man up and write the truth about this joke. Call the NHL out have a pair.
Since C-Bus is struggling and will need to shake things up, we should pry Umberger from their roster.
That prick Peel is a criminal. The FBI should investigate him for game fixing.
2010-11: 1 goal in his first 14 games
2009-10: 3 goals in his first 5 games, then 1 for his next 9 games
2008-09: 2 goals in his first 15 games
2007-08: 1 goal in his first 7 games
Brian Savage, he is not.
Gio always starts out slow. Comparable to Iginla.
It is a little strange for Gionta, whose game is built on speed. It makes a bit of sense for power forwards to start out slow…they are often bulked up from the summer and it often takes them a while to play themselves into “hockey shape”.
Can’t stay out of the box.
I blame Gomez.
I can’t even believe these fuckin refs. If this game was at the bell centre there would be stuff thrown on the ice.
So let me get this straight mods, “pisser”, as in “man what a pisser” gets deleted, yet you deem this appropriate to leave. Keep up the good work, just don’t be surprised when you hear about the litigation that’s going to occur.
Yeah. Lemme know when the penalties start to “even up”. What is is 7-0 now? 8? F*** **.
C’mon ….. gave it up way too easy then to recover has to take a penalty
apart from maybe the CFL, the NHL has, by far, the worst reffing of the major sports.
Wow refs, you guys are pricks.
penalties are at what now? is it 8 or 9?
Olé, olé, olé oleé
Pleks was cross-checked in the slot, no call.
Lundqvist is a rebound machine
palujah … 1-0 dogs
Hire the best regardless of language
Gio just doesn’t seem himself
Waitin for gomer to come back
Avery screws up an odd-man rush
Avery? Didn’t Rocket whip his ass? Or Roy Dupuis? Komi? Maybe it was Josh Gorges.
ELLER doesn’t belong in the NHL.
HE’S HORRIBLE DEFENSIVELY!
Geez… you can’t even troll well…
are you drunk ?
Not sure if trolling, or just very stupid…
The comedy here is good.
HABSRPAST doesn’t belong on the internet.
HE’S HORRIBLE TROLLINGLY!
These officials must be some of Bettman’s retarded nephews.
PK’s struggling offensively, but I think his defensive game is pretty underrated this year. Still needs to get better though.
I guess holding the stick isn’t on the books anymore
Olé, olé, olé oleé
oh my my does Columbus suck. last game for their coach and GM. got to be
Another bullshit penalty.
F the refs
Refs are letting the habs know, they’re not supposed to win this game. Just absolutely pathetic.
Another shit call. that should have been called both ways without question.
some of those calls were deserved.sorry.they are playing stupid…………we need the points freaking NUTS!!!!!!
Ranger hockey: hold stick, then fall over.
Callahan should not be in the game
Right after a frigging goal. FFS!
Refs didn’t like that goal
holding the stick? nope? okay
Olé, olé, olé oleé
It was a good call. Pleks’ stick should not have been there in the first place. The reffing has been brutal but some of you guys are going overboard here.
honestly, both should have gone
On game night, people going overboard is the norm.
Habs should win the pushover of the year award. Do whatever you want to this team, at any level and… there will be no consequences.
The Rangers are completely not a better team. They have just had more momentum with the number of penalties we’ve taken. Why?
Because the Rangers are a bunch of humpty dumptys and their milking it tonight. As for the refs, maybe they can’t even see the white jerseys tonight with all the dim lighting in the bleachers and the ice fully reflecting in their eyes. That’s my scientific theory. My non scientific theory……. well, you don’t want to know my non-scientific theory.
Every NHL player who grew up within 100 k of Montreal has a big game when their team comes to town. Nice to see MaxPac stick it to his boyhood team. We don’t get much of that.
Perfect vet play by Gio
4 shots, 2 are massive rebounds, Henrik is not good today
There ya go!
Watch Peel call it a no goal….
Well that was kind of perfect
Patches = MONEY.
Claiming Martin showed no emotion in the face of such dubious reffing is a bit unfair.
I saw at least 3 shoulder shrugs.
And one note pad writeup.
Couple of head-shakes too, to be fair. Maybe even a mild muttering. Ok, let’s not get carried away.
I’m so sick of the habs NEVER READY TO START A GAME.
is it coincidental that JM is the coach of a team NEVER PREPARED!
FIRE JM NOW!
This team will only go as far as Price can take it, period.
“Benoit Brunet predicts penalties will even up.”
Don’t hold your frickin breath.
Fix fix fix fix fix fix case closed.
I hope their bookies can get the refs their winnings in time for a nice night out. NYC is magical this time of year.
Come on, OWS, interrupt the game for a forfeit win.
Ken Dryden For NHL Commissioner
If the Habs do not give away a penalty in the second, I say we’ll win this game.
Yes, I stay optimistic.
Yes, and our team has to be able to come back. Good practice for the playoffs.
Go Martin Go
I don’t know where you’ve been, but over the years Leafs fans have gone NUTS to get Ron Wilson fired. It has been pretty much constant, except in the rare periods of good play.
The number criticizing Burke are fewer, because he has a bit of a personality cult going, but there have been a LOT of incidents that had fans calling for his head.
