No sense going mental over this crap. These games are equivalent to controlled scrimmages without coaches’ interruptions. The house league will begin in a week where we play 82 games to eliminate 15 teams and of course the Maple Leafs. Then we play for the Cup. Arrive healthy, with momentum and decent goaltending and anything is possible!

No big deal about Weber playing forward – The Habs know what Weber can do or can’t do as it is about Diaz proving whether or not he can show enough to stay & not go to The Bulldogs. Also if Diaz has a rough game or needs a break Weber can step in for a shift or two……..
What I would do with P.K. and Carey (or at least propose) if I am PG next summer:
Offer Subban a 3 year, 3.5-4 M deal
Offer Price a 5 year, 4.5-5 M deal – including a no-trade clause
I would not ink either longer than 5 years. Maybe Price. Maybe. I am not a big fan of long-term deals. If a player like Stamkos gets a 7-year deal, then a 4-5 year deal for Price and Soobie should be just fine. I would say 6 for Price, since he is the franchise player, but that’s the absolute max.
Subban. Elite potential. Already a good player. I don’t want to pay for potential. Right now he is a top 2 dman. He has potential to be a franchise player. I’ll wait 2-3 years to throw money at him. Which is why I think a 3 year, 3.5-4 M deal is reasonable.
I am not saying Price and PK should not get paid more than that at all. Just my opinion, lol.

I agree and I think we´d see much more physical play from Yemelin in a regular season game than in preseason. I fear he won´t play at Toronto though. JM seems to like Diaz, he won´t sit Campoli (would make the acquisition look stupid) or Spacek because he is old, sorry a veteran who never get benched by him…
