A homer series is one thing. But this is absurd:
Three games in Boston: Bruins 17 Canucks 3.
Boston scored four goals in 4:14 of the first period – fastest in league history – to turn Game 6 into a laugher.
Tim Thomas made 36 saves.
Bruins were 46-28 on faceoffs.
Shawn Thornton led both teams with seven hits … in 10 minutes ToI.
Even the Boston PP looked great, as did the PK.
Can anyone remember a team winning the Cup while sucking this bad on the road in a final?
Canadiens, you may recall, won twice in Boston in the first round and lost another two in OT.

If Vancouver were to actually win the cup in this series (assuming that they do it in 7) they would have to be one of the most undeserving teams to win ever. Other then the biting, diving, dangerous hits, trash talk in the media, numerous times on the wrong side of a blow out and just a complete lack of heart, these guys haven’t shown us much.
Vancouver doesn’t deserve a cup. Awful
reality is the bruins have been the way better team in this series..the games in vancouver have been close…games in boston not even a contest..sadly the bruins get to pick way ahead of us in the draft…

They actually played a tight series with Boston.
Nucks have been blown out three games now.
Don’t you think that different teams match up differently? We skated with the Bruins sure, but maybe we’d be lulled into a skill game with Van, and IMO in that situation, we may be the ones on the negative side of 5-6 goal beatings.
I agree bud, Habs would have matched up differently against the Nucks. But I don’t see them getting blown out at all. I am not saying the Habs would have won the series, but they would have taken it to at least 6 games for sure. You’re underestimating the Habs here. I can see the Habs beat the Canucks in any given series after they tweak their D. With the departure of Hamrlik and Sopel and the addition of Markov and Yemelin, the team’s D is very mobile, added some mean streak and can actually support the ‘puck-possession’ system. Veteran d-men like Hamrlik, Spacek, Sopel, in my opinion were very slow and did not allow the Habs to move as a unit as they progressed. And yes, I do believe Price is better than Luongo. Serious advantage.
