This team does NOT need Gomez.
An improving Eller, Desharnais and Plekanec. The gorup of centers already looks really good because his name is not here.
If anything Desharnais can be replaced by a big center in the future, but at least for now, this core is capable of putting up points. Eller should not be playing on the 4th line. He can put up more points than Gomez. Easily.

to be honest all 3 of the goals have been so fluky, that 3rd goal no goalie plays for it to go off the playesr skate, he plays the stick makes the play
