The kid crawford definitely deseved to be 1 of the 3 STARS in that game. I admit I didn’t bother to vote, but would of voted for him and carey for sure. If that game ended 5-4, no one would of said it was bad goaltending. They both stood on their heads.

Habs rounding into form. Tonight all of the Habs played great. The top 6 seem to be going a lot better. Cammy had some good chances, even Gomez seem to have an extra gear tonight. What can you say about Price and PK that hasn’t already been said. All I got to say about those two in two words ” FRANCHISE PLAYERS”

+1. Why the powers that be think headshots and fighting are a “normal” part of the game, I’ll never understand. BTW, it’s not true that all hockey in the 70s was a goonfest, either. The Habs teams of the 70s played like this. This reminds me of the Habs Central Red Army game of Dec. 31, 1975.

Didn’t say anything about them not deserving the win. What I am saying is that without Crawford’s remarkable saves it would have been a blowout.
He was the second best player on the ice tonight and deserved the second star because of it.

Of course I want us to win, but no matter what happens, this was a great hockey game. Both goaltenders stood on their heads.
MB: Toronto was already elimainated by virtue of TB not scoring two more goals than they did. Bufffalo would also have been required to lose for the Laffs to to stay ” alive”, such as that is for Toronto. It was really a slim chance. My heart is very far from breaking, nevertheless.
