Solid effort so far…when they play like today it feels more optimistic that this team does not need that much to become an elite team…we need 2 forwards that can score 20 goals…1-2 d who can skate better and we must be better in faceoffs that count. if pouliot does his 1 goal in 30 games again i am not sure you can bring him back next year

    • FastCentennial says:

thats why Pouliot got a 1 yr deal, same with Chipchura, Latendresse couple yrs back and also Lapierre.

      Habsnation is still standing.

  2. FastCentennial says:

Habs just gotta work harder skate with Kane dont need to attack him and steal the puck just dont let him loose they will be ok.

    Habsnation is still standing.

  3. Habbu says:

Ok Boys give it all in the third then take the rest of the week off.

  4. Looks like I’ve been missing one hell of a game.

  5. Rudy says:

Have to watch Blackhawks feed, wow do Toews and Kane do a lot of commercials!!

  6. _Habsoloutly_ says:

Whats that sound? It’s the sound of Leaf nation falling back down to earth.

    • Jim Edson says:

It has been suggested the LAFFS have a parade for nearly making the playoffs!

Just for practice and MLSE are going to sell tickets to make up for lost playoff revenue!

…..My empire is crumbling, my international sponsors are deserting me, my authority is questioned, I am held in contempt wherever I go.

Who am I: Mohamar Ghadaffi or Gary Bettman.

      • habs001 says:

on the news a leaf fan adv they had to purchase first round tickets ..i guess the $$$ goes to next years season tickets..nice way to get interest…

      • observer says:

they long knew leafs had practically no chance this year – burke is aiming for next year. why he added no one at deadline despite all that cap room. next year toronto will be a top team with that $25 million cap room and all his best players under contract.

and i am not a fan of theirs but i clearly see it!

    • Bugs says:

Just like Pouliot, right, Luty. Eh? Right, eh? Yeeaahhh.

Chillin like MacMillan, potty-boy says he’s L. B. Potter, esq.

      • _Habsoloutly_ says:

Touched a nerve did I? Good.

        • Bugs says:

Nothing aggravates me more than total lack of wit, I admit.
You wanna bash me for liking my boy, that’s fine. But bring me some FORM of material besides this lame repetitive turning every phrase into a snide remark against the kid and asking my opinnion of it.
Cuz your “nerve-touching” as you call it, is just you being an annoying moron.
          Grow up.

Chillin like MacMillan, potty-boy says he’s L. B. Potter, esq.

          • _Habsoloutly_ says:

Yup, looks like I touched a nerve, Bugsy is getting his feelings all butthurt.

  7. Jim Edson says:

    “Kane is mesmerizing them”

Translated: they are standing around watching Kane.

No movement of the feet and that is what happens.

…..My empire is crumbling, my international sponsors are deserting me, my authority is questioned, I am held in contempt wherever I go.

Who am I: Mohamar Ghadaffi or Gary Bettman.

  8. observer says:

at the end of just about every single 1st period and 2nd period this seaso9n – this poorly coached defensive shell minded habs team is always hanging on for dear life to avoid being scored on late or are getting penalties trying to play this way. practically every single 2nd and 1st period ending.

  9. ooder says:

all because of that ridiculous call on ak46.. habs still no full PP
lets get it done in the third… habs are playing a great game

    ***Subbang Baby!!!***

  14. habstrinifan says:

  24. larisalapointe says:

THIS is an original six game…wow. Enjoy it next=Ottawa…ugh

  25. habs001 says:

darche having problems vs the kane line…if you are going to have a player like pyatt on the team who provides no scoring at all than that type of player should be the type that checks the top forwards on the other team

  26. Keith says:

    On our heels too much.

  27. JIMVINNY says:

PK minutes is probably another category Subban is leading NHL rookies in.

  35. habstrinifan says:

Reaaly really want this game.. for the boys! They deserve it. Let’s ALL think positive thoughts.

  36. 4m3y2j says:

Price is not Brodeur,,he has got to change his approach or we will get seriously burned….

  38. observer says:

on chicago goal 1 – there goes hamrlck again– he jumped out of the way AGAIN for the shot he himself easily could have blocked with his body – hamrlck is totally worthless now and this media gives him an award? do they even watch these games?

  39. temekuhabs says:

    Man, that Kane is good

  40. Keith says:

Had Pricey moving the other way, but Kane is super-skilled.

  41. Price was too deep in his crease on that

  53. JIMVINNY says:
