Can if he wants. I really couldn’t care any less than I do right now. Aside from a couple of turnovers I think Gomez is playing pretty well by his low standards.
Either way. This team needs Eller back in the lineup in a hurry. He was blossoming in last year’s playoffs and was starting to look the part of a #2 centre with #1 centre upside.
Desharnais and Gomez are not long term answers at that position and Eller is. I hope he isn’t relegated to 4th line duty in favour of either of the other two.
How come it takes JM 50 minutes to figure out his 4.5 million dollar powerforward should be on the top line… maybe by next week he’ll have him on the PP. Hopefully JM has packed his bags by then.

Two things I KNOW.
A)JM is crap in his usage of the PRE-SEASON.
B)Anytime there is an extended ‘off period’ and JM has this team for 3 to 4 days, they come back totally dull…. you think I am wrong check last season’s ‘first game’ after long lay-off stats.
