Cancel the panic

Gotta love .500 hockey.

And what’s more entertainiong than 30 minutes of garbage time.

right on.  they get leads by playing a certain way, but instead of continuing and maybe getting up 3 or 4 goals, they shut it down and hopefully win by hanging on.  They don’t play the sit back on a lead style well at all, so they might as well keep up with the speed through the neutral zone and try to pad the lead

Good point, Dave.  It’s been like that for quite awhile now, even back to the Carbo days.  When a team is ahed 3-1 it’s time to put the hammer down.

I have watched PKs game for 7 years. And he played a very poor game last night.

He was on the ice for the last 3 goals
against, and put himself out of position trying to do someone else’s job to often. He gave up the puck much
more than he has in a very long time, and his passes we not crisp tape to tape.

He has a lot to learn and needs to have a
little more patience with his own development. Yes, sitting him out is part
    of the learning curve.

    He
will learn much, sitting and watching tonight. He is mentally strong,
and will turn this into a positive part of his development.

    This
is Martin’s way of giving the whole team  a shake up as well. The way
they play with the lead in the past few games is dreadful.

Hey Dave, does Martin wear one of those things??

She’s a Thunder Bay lass – they make them beautiful up here.

Well, the women are hot, but the place has a reputation for being a rich kid school. Take that how you will…

  7. HardHabits says:

The team wins when the forecheck with 2 forwards in the O zone and they lose when the use the 1-4. I am sick of JM’s thinking they are going to win games by sitting on leads. The best defense is a good offense.

  8. GrimJim says:

If Carbo is pulling the strings, who plays D? Pyatt? Lapierre? Cammy?

What would you be if you were attached to another object by an incline-plan wrapped helically around an axis?

  9. andrewberkshire says:

That’s what I was thinking, but I wasn’t sure. Is that a positive or negative?

  10. nick says:

Poor nobody. These guys are getting paid hundreds of thousands, if not millions to play a game… Or sit on a bench. There are worse things in this world.

melanie auld is pretty but cobie smulders is hot imo

So does Cammalleri get scratched next game if he doesn’t wake up?

  14. andrewberkshire says:

Absolutely. Auld’s wife is a smoke show. Good for him.

  15. Chorske says:

I’m sure we agree that there is nothin’ wrong with that AT ALL.

  16. HardHabits says:

Too much, way too late. PK should’ve had his butt glued to the bench in the 3rd. Maybe Cammy too, but PK for sure. At least they’ll be playing Weber as a defenseman. Or will they? If Weber play as a forward I am going to conclude that Carbo is pulling JM’s strings.
