Your Montreal Canadiens have yet to win a game on home ice this season.
They have only one win anywhere.
Max Pacioretty is injured.
And the fans booed P.K.
Dineen, wow good player and now good coach, who da thunk!
Ugly tie for Jacques
Looks like it’s going to be an uglier loss
“Hey Richard, two minutes for looking so good!”
Why not have Nokia out for that faceoff?
I was thinking that, too. Were Halpern here, he would have taken it, so why not Nokia?
don’t you mean PG’s “pète mouillé” nokelainen?
I disagree. Camm is one of our best PKers.
I wondered about putting top line players on the PK but at the very least it keeps those players warm. I would like to see more balance though. Let some of the 3rd and 4th liners share the load so the top goes don’t get burnt out.
He’s a sniper though, risks injury in those situations and it isn’t conductive to his style, eats up his energy as well when he should be saving it for ES, PP efforts.
– I shall always remember Captain Koivu. Habs and Hockey.

Patches doesn’t look good after that.
Let’s hope Max just wants to beat the lineup for the can
not pretty but killed.
Is it just me or do the boards seem less “lively” than they used to? Missed shots don’t seem to fly off the boards as much as last year.
Did they do anything to them other than change the glass?
Yes. The boards give way as well whereas before they didn’t budge at all.
It’s a pretty dramatic difference eh?
Just 1 of the less lively things in Bell Centre this year
good job by Budaj so far, keep up the good work buddy, the habs need the W
Gomez for Metro. Oh and Gomez sucks… But is a nice guy
Get the feeling just a matter of time before they pot one?
First real ‘jump’ from Cole I’ve seen this year.
I see no slash.
It was the fla player slashing Cole’s stick. Second horrific call tonight.
How does he make these decisions? It must hurt to be that stupid.
It’s sad, but I don’t miss Gomez, but I do miss the “Gomez sucks” comments.
“Gomez sucks! ” Feels better, I hope?
Yes, thank you. I didn’t know where I was for a minute. hahaha
It’s amazing how his absence makes no difference at all.
Full Breezer 4 Life
Love Eller…. It’s like give me the puck I’ll clear the zone myself
I just wish the other team wasn’t Panthers…
The guys are playing hard…I’ll give them that. But this team just isn’t built properly. Putting it all out there on the ice against Florida at home and the game is tied.
Eller just makes things happen.
Man our pk is hard to watch. If florida had some talent they could have scored 3 times!!! And yea how is that not a penalty?
Pathetic PK. Why is Gio/Plex/Cammi burning out on the PK while Darche and the new guy sit on the bench? JM, please answer.
*Listen to my instrumental tribute entitled “Habs at War” at http://web.me.com/ptolias/Music/OtherOriginalMusic.html
Duhhhh…they have to save Darche for the powerplay.
You rest your snipers during the PK.
Florida telecast showed Henri Richard, identified him as Maurice and said there’s a trophy named after him
… but then also credited him with the proper number of Cups.
Except for the big hit (which I would have to see a replay of to know it it was clean) PK is quickly rubbing me the wrong way to the point that not only can I see why others hate him, but I am starting to dislike him myself.
I don’t post here much, and when I do, it’s usually to bitch at someone for their gross over-reaction to calls/non-calls, but this time I’m firmly in the ‘how was that not a penalty’ camp?
I’m sure Budaj did some work to sell that, but really? No call?
Edit: upon seeing the replay, I now have to bitch at myself. The Florida player clearly made an effort to stop. However, had the puck gone in, I’d have expected one of those ‘no goal, no penalty’ situations.
Budaj is impressing tonight as-well!
Did I just witness a Habs push back?
I would also like to note that Budaj may have earned a start in the upcoming back to back against Boston.
for a second there i thought we were getting another delay of game penalty for budaj going in the net
Open season on any Habs goalie apparently.
What a crazy sequence!
well done Budd-ie
Gill looks lost.
Any one have a link to an online channel to watch the game.
These are the things that irritate me about martin. We have a faceoff in our own end and he leaves the eller line out there who has been 36% tonight in faceoffs. While he has pleky at 83% and nooky? at 100% sitting on the bench. We lose the draw and end up taking a penalty.
“Florida telecast showed Henri Richard, identified him as Maurice and said there’s a trophy named after him.”
Shame on Billy Lindsay for letting him get away with that. The Habs even let Lindsay wear a real hockey number (22) during his brief stay here. At least the Florida broadcast paid tribute to Lafleur (the hot dogs, that is).
Lindsay is not much better unfortunately. Last year when he was calling a game he specifically said that the “H” on the uniform stands for Habs. We were flabbergasted that a former player could get that wrong!
Eller and Diaz have been 2 positives at least.
PK didnt get away with it that time!
They’re killing us along the boards
No quick whistle in les Habs end though.
Gotta get the puck on net in those situations, Rapha. He’ll learn.
Booty does a gump worsley and the line juggling begins
It’s absolutely amazing how much better Spacek is on the left side than he is on the right side. Two completely different players. What the hell took this coaching staff so long to get him in the right spot?
Defnitely quicker whistles on Markstrum
I’ve really expected more out of AK47
I hope Cole scores another PPG to win it late. Security would prevent Jessica from getting into the post game interview.
Sheesh, PK is a marked man this season. Wonder what he’s gotta do to take the target off his back (I almost wrote “monkey” but replaced it with “target”).
I keep telling myself, “They’re not big rebounds… they’re short outlet passes.”
Halak put more on his outlet passes.
Not liking Cole and Pacioretty together on the same line, just doesn’t seem to click…
Holy rebounds batman!!
PK better watch it or he will get called for holding the stick, that was pretty blatant
You called it, I salute you!
Aaaaaaand there’s the call
Perhaps PK is not the second coming of Christ some thought he was. ?
Forbidden….is that because i did not jump on the Jessica love train?
second place is just the first loser
So sloppy in our own zone
LOL Bill Lindsay just messed up royally on FS Panthers
Camera was on Henri in the crowd and he was calling him Maurice for about a minute
Holy quick whistle!
another quick whistle
Cole kinda sucks.
what are you watching… needs a little more time to get use to a new team (the stupid JM structure)
A good C makes his wingers look good. Notice how good AK and Moen look right now? Eller’s puck handling is creating space for them.
Pleks doesn’t seem to be on these last 2 games. Any ideas?
Not to beat a dead horse, but Jessica could ask JM about him.
All these goalmouth scrambles must be the “easy to stop perimeter shots” I keep hearing about…
What was the deal with Pronger/Grabovski? I missed that…
Pronger got Grabobski’s stick in his eye. RDS says not serious after all.
Hopefully serious enough for Pronger to lay some lumber on Grabo.
Grabo took a reckless turnaround shot stick followtrhough got pronger in eye.
Innocent play. Follow through after taking a shot on net.
The Panthers goalie has a HUGE FUTURE! Awesome goal-tending!.
For him to be doing awesome goaltending would that mean you are acknowleding good plays by Montreal towards the net?
Well Habs putting on good pressure for sure and not just at the opposing goalie’s chest pad .
We’re getting quality shots tonight. Markstrom is just getting in the way. Note: I intentionally omitted the word “save” from that sentence.
The goalie pads are still too wide and the nets are still not wide enough. Marksom could almost block out the sun with all the stuff he’s wearing.
Gudbranson is a big kid. one of the major benefits of tanking a la hard habits.
Check both our comments below at 8:40. Uncanny.
man, it sure is impressive watching Eller get better and better every game he plays. and to think, we got him for a goalie who had a flukey run in the playoffs. one of the few coup’s PG has made.
Wow. Eller looks good. It pains me to say but PG won that trade hands down.
JM playing a guy who is lucky to average 40% in the circle for key faceoffs. He hates his job and wants to be fired.
How did Darche miss the rebound? Hmm … let’s see … how is that possible? Probably because he’s only a scoring threat in the eyes of The Count … which is all that counts I guess.
I think so far Nokelainen has been quite o.k.
Better than Engquist.
Engquist is a swede.
Dem’s fightin’ words, JJ
Props to the homie!!!
Yes, you’re right. He hasn’t been a liability.
I’d like to see him used a little more often in situational faceoffs.
How did Darche miss the rebound?
Well, he’s Darche….
Nice play by PK.
Terrible rebound, amazing save, friggen rookie goalies…
Mr. Boone can we submit questions to you which you can pick the best one, and have Jessica read to JM after games?
Seriously though, where does Martin get off answering like that? His team sucks, he’s doing nothing to turn it around, so he takes it out on a reasonable question from a reporter?
Sorry, but that’s classless.
Jeez how lucky is Markstrom tonight?
If Pronger comes back to play tonight, Wilson may want to leave Grabovski on the bench. I smell payback.
Eller’s confidence is growing by the second.
Cole got çredit for the goal. LMFAO

Do you think the Canadiens made a good move trading Brandon Prust in exchange for Zack Kassian?
